Vieux Crest  

Located at 1932 meters, this ancient village is characterised by a spectacular view of the valley below. This resort is reachable from Frantzè in less than two minutes, and in the same time from the cableway terminal of Crest – Moreletè. Vieux Crest offers nowadays a lot of well restored structures, which often hosts the tourists during summer time. There’s also a old community oven, at the village’s entrance. It’s a peaceful place; we can also found Vieux Crest Refuge, reachable with the little, shady, way between the rascard.

This refuge offers 28 beds, and it’s host by Luigi Fosson of Ayas, tel. +39 348 9691666, while the refuge’s number is +39 0125 307983. It offers a charming and typical atmosphere, with a good menu, but please pay attention to the bill... It’s a personal advice! Anyway, it’s open from half June to September.
