Belvedere Mountain Restaurant 

Located at about 2400 meters over Crest Mount, this refuge isn’t reported on Ayas maps, but it’s close to Contenery Lake, easily recognizable and therefore simple to be reached, thanks to the signals. How to get there?

From Crest, and I mean as usual the cableway terminal, it’ll be necessary to choose the road on the left, leaving it after a little going on the right, going up to Saler Lake along path 10A, which carries not only to Belvedere, but also to Ciarcerio, 2371 meters high. After the lake you have to keep on climbing for about 30 minutes; the run is simple, and easy to be done for anybody. The refuge, as you can see in the following picture, is a modern two – stories building; it offers beds and refreshments with hot dishes too, which can be eating on the panoramic terrace. The meadows around offer a lot of spaces to do picnics or similar activities. During the winter those meadows are ski tracks. Nevertheless, the refuge has been under refurbishment for all sumer 2003. Please note that, except some little lakes (unadvisables!) the nearest potable spring is at Crest!
