Reachable
with a so – called “high road”, excavated and carriageable –
with a jeep, of course – this refuge (2535 meters) lays exactely under
the two peaks of Petit (3207) and Grand Tournalin (3379), next to
Cervinia Valley’s border. It takes nearly three hours. Surpassed
the woods over St. Jacques, precisely, you can leave the path number 4
for the road, in proximity to Blanchard village. The run become easier
abd enjoyable, a good choice for an excursion with children, or for
beginners. There are several panoramic points, both from the road and
from the path: particullary notable the arrival at the upper mountains
pastures, side by side with the unmissable alpine torrent (de Nanaz, in
this case). |
