Frachey

The Frachy hamlet, located at the end of the woods which separe it from Champoluc, lays on the right of route 506. The village is made of ancient rascards parially restored nowadays, and it hosts the famous “La Grange” bar, which offers itself as a good refreshment point during the walks from and to Champoluc. There’s also a little fountain with the fantastic fresh water you can find all along the Valley. If you don’t want to walk or bike along the route, you better follow one of these ways: from Pian Villy (the picnic area which is located at the end of the big car park located, in Morenesc resort, or along both Evancon enbankments. They’re good jogging or children runs, but during weekends they easily become a mess, full of sunday – campers; in winter, instead, they represents interesting cross country ski tracks.
