– Frachey – St.Jacques This
run is ideal for chidren : it’s easy and funny, and long enough
to look important to their eyes, while it offers many breaks
possibilities. Reaching
Frachey is simple: from the car park in Morenesc resort, you simply have
to go towards the glacier. There are three possibilities: the District
Road, which is crowded of cars, and the two dirt roadson Evançon banks.
When
you’ve reached it, there’s just one possibility to reach St.Jacques,
I mean SR45. it has got steepy parts, and there are some bad curves
where it’s good to not stand, in order to avoid accidents, but it’s
really short, it takes less than 20 minutes. After that, the way back:
pure entertainment til Champoluc. There’s
a good drinking through at Frachey, between St.Roch Chapel and La Grange
Restaurant. It offers clean and fresh water, very good in a hot day.
Also St.Jacques offers more than one public point where to drink.
